Blogger couple Mikey & Jana fell under the spell of Villa Marie Saint-Tropez. An exclusive stay where they tasted the French art of living... which they share here!
Summer is officially here! The flowers are opening, the sun is shining, the days are getting longer, and it's time for an unforgettable holiday. To escape the monotony of everyday life, there's nothing like the sunny Côte d'Azur, where summer never seems to end. And while you're wondering where to spend your holiday, we've found the perfect place for you: the Villa Marie Saint-Tropez hotel.
When we go on a trip, it is not unusual for us to be more excited about the destination than the place we are staying. At Villa Marie, things were very different: we didn't want to leave this true paradise on earth. The 5-star Italian-style hotel is nestled in an incredible landscape of pine trees that would leave no one unmoved, not even the greatest artists. Located on the heights of Ramatuelle, it offers a breathtaking view of the Bay of Pampelonne. In terms of location, it couldn't be better: only ten minutes by car from Saint-Tropez and the famous Club 55 beaches and restaurants, Moorea, and Tahiti. Close enough to the heart of the action, and just far enough to relax.
Among the many highlights of Villa Marie are its superb interiors that embody and enhance the surrounding natural environment, but also its breathtaking views and impeccable service. This hidden gem, one of eleven exclusive Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet properties, showcases the exceptional work of Jocelyne and Jean-Louis Sibuet. Once there, you will immerse yourself in a true holiday atmosphere, and see your dreams come true. As soon as we arrived, the pace slowed down and we felt like we were being thrown into a glamorous movie. Infused water and a glass of rosé were offered to us by the remarkable staff who made our stay so special and unforgettable. After visiting this exceptional place, we were absolutely enchanted, and we can say without blinking that Villa Marie really exceeded our expectations and touched us. There are so many ways to relax and have a good time: an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the bay of Pampelonne, sun-drenched gardens with lush vegetation, and our favourite, the greenhouse brimming with succulents.
Villa Marie has 45 unique rooms and suites, perfectly decorated by Jocelyne Sibuet. The rooms are mainly pastel, with beautiful antique touches, for a charming bohemian result with a touch of romance. We particularly liked the chic bathtub and the patio with its stunning view.
For the ultimate in relaxation for both body and mind, you can take advantage of the full service Pure Altitude Spa - after all, that's what holidays are for.
"Three key words guided me in the creation of each formula in the Pure Altitude skin care range. Firstly, rarity: natural active ingredients, extracted under optimal conditions to preserve all their beneficial effects. Then technicality: care products at the cutting edge of plant cosmetics, including intense cell regeneration. And finally, pleasure: the pleasure sought by the women who inspired me when I created this range. Jocelyne Sibuet, founder of Pure Altitude.
The breakfast buffet offered great options, even for vegans like us. For lunch and dinner, you can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine at the Dolce Vita restaurant, where the view and service will leave you speechless.
Even if it was difficult to leave our little paradise, we recommend a trip to Saint-Tropez and the beaches of the Bay of Pampelonne. An ideal way to end your unforgettable stay. We really enjoyed our stay! We loved everything about it: the breathtaking scenery, the luxurious experience and the memorable service! Look no further for your next trip to the French Riviera! Thank you Villa Marie for your hospitality - we will always treasure our stay with you.
She is from Bulgaria, he is from Atlanta and they met in Vail, Colorado! They describe themselves as "two vegan, gypsy souls who love to spread the love while traveling the world together."
